Statement from TWH Collectibles 3/30/12: We are excited to announce that the 1:50 scale model of the Manitowoc 31000 is back on track and heading into the tooling phase in April. We apologize for the delay, but significant complications regarding a factory change and the resulting economic repercussions have now been overcome. The new ship date for this iconic model is scheduled for February of 2013. The MSRP will remain at $1800US and the final configuration has been confirmed at 80m boom and 60m jib (just under 9 feet tall!). Production quantity will be 750 pieces of this officially licensed Manitowoc replica.

CONFIGURATION:80m boom, 60m luffing jib(see image in slideshow for exact configuration) The 31000 crawler crane is the largest crane ever designed and built by Manitowoc will now be small enough to add to your model collection. Never before has there been a more impressive Manitowoc model. The replica will feature the innovative design and details of the crane, including the Variable Position Counterweight. Even at one-fiftieth of the size of the actual crane, the model height will peak at 2.52 meters, just under 9 feet tall.

I am very impatient to receive my MANITOWOC 31000 which is doubtless the best model never produced until this day (Among all the manufacturers).

This model has had extra time to get ready for its release! It's going to be great and there is alot of detail as seen in the pictures!

even though its not out yet, from the prototype pictures, it looks dead on with the real thing! ive seen the real thing up close and the model justs mirrors its reflection so far! this will be my pride and joy and king of my collection! cant wait for it to get here!!!!

Well from the looks of it and pictures. It is sure to be the best Manitowoc Crane Twh has produced.
