International Orders & Shipping

Can you ship to my country? We can ship to virtually any address in the world. However, in rare cases, there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

How much does it cost to ship to destinations outside the US? Our shipping rates are based on actual weights, and is influenced by your postal code. The best way to understand shipping of your desired models is to add them to the shopping cart, and then select the "estimate shipping" feature. After requesting your country, region, and postal code, this feature will give you your US Postal Service and UPS shipping options.

Do I have to pay duties/taxes when my order arrives in my country? Your order will be subject to the importation laws of your country. Usually, a customs office will charge a percentage of the declared value. The customs office or the shipping company will contact you to process these fees prior to delivery. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and they are the responsibility of the recipient. Since customs regulations vary from country to country, we also can't predict the charges. However we can give you an estimate based on the experience gained from interaction with our customers.

International Shipping with US Postal Service: USPS is a very reliable service, and in most cases is more cost effective. Shipment method and processing of your package through customs requires slightly more time with USPS. Tracking is available from the time the package leaves our facility to the hub of export...then resumes when the package arrives in customs in your country. We advise our customers to give the USPS tracking number to the local post office, which can anticipate the package delivery in its system once the package arrives in the country. The customs office or post office will contact you to process any international duties/taxes for the order.

International shipments with UPS: UPS is our recommended service for international shipments. Shipping with UPS is faster and tracking updates are more frequent and specific. UPS also features its own customs processing, but charges for this convenience through brokerage fees causing the overall clearance fees with UPS to be more expensive than with USPS.

NOTE: UPS only charges Brokerage for Ground (Standard) shipments to Canada or Mexico. All other Intl destinations Brokerage Charges are included in the shipping cost. No extra charges for Brokerage. Also if you use Express, Express Saver or Expedited for Canada or Mexico Brokerage is also included in those shipping charges.

Shipments to Canada: Consistent with other countries, Canada Customs requires recipient to pay applicable duties and taxes on each shipment, these charges may include PST, GST, HST, duties and other taxes of goods, The overall cost of receiving the goods is less through USPS. UPS shipping may be slightly cheaper for the shipping, but the additional brokerage fees for customs clearance must be considered as well. With the diecast model product the brokerage fees are a flat $10. Below is a chart of the tax rates for each province.

Your order will ship under UPS’s e-Tailer Brokerage Program (eBP). Please be aware that UPS will request payment of all brokerage and taxes at the time of delivery. YOu ahve the ability to call UPS ahead of time (1-800-742-5877) to pay these charges, eliminating the need for payment on delivery.

A quick rule of thumb... if you need it fast, with concise tracking, and you’re not concerned about additional brokerage fees, choose UPS.

If you are satisfied with very reliable, but slower service, and you don’t want to pay additional brokerage fees, choose US Postal Service.
